I’ll never have enough thanks for the radio DJ who played Black Heart Procession songs for her full set (100 minutes!) some 24 years ago. Cherry on the cake: at the end she announced a gig the next day 🙃It was a revelation for me, and I’m still immensely moved by this music after all this time. Thank you KEXP for this one, the duo setup is wonderful. And of course to the Black Heart Procession for bringing so much beauty into this world 🙏🎶❤

These are such beautiful renditions of songs I've held in my heart and mind for many years. Thank you for the opportunity to hear these played as a duo.

I was so fortunate asto get to play a small coffee shop in SLO, CA. Back in maybe 2000. They were one of the coolest bands to hang out with and experience. Then saw em a bit later for #3 tour. So great.
On my 33rd birthday I was gifted tickets to see the THREE MILE PILOT reunion up in SF with 2 of my besties. Now they're playing the Casbah in SD in late April this year 2025. I hope that you get to see them... and it's as wonderful for you as it has been for myself and others.
And to the Black Heart Procession, Pall & Tobias ....thank you for making something that feels super real, sounds beautifully unique, and is always a welcoming, relatable escape into sound. Still Appreciated, thoroughly.

What I love most about The Black Heart Procession is the authenticity of it. They’re not trying to fit into any particular mold, just playing music from the heart that resonates with my deepest, darkest emotions.

I remember in the mid 2000’s falling asleep to their albums “2” and “3”. Two perfect albums IMO.

Saw them back in the days when they wore blinking red hearts under their shirts. I vividly remember when Pall lit his saw on fire from the stage; that performance made an awesome impression on me. Thanks BHP for gifting this world some of the most emotionally anguished, real, and resonant songs. I consider you giants in your field. Timeless stuff. 🖤

When they started into blue tears I gasped. I saw them around three’s release. One of the best shows of my life.

They toured Italy so extensively and for so many years that I'm glad we are their best memories. Greetings from Italy!

Oh my god you guys, I've loved this band since like the Audiogalaxy days (now known as rhapsody), where I first discovered them. Three being my favourite album of all. I've still after all these years never seen these guys live. But thank you for hosting them on KEXP, and I hope they'll come back up to Seattle on a regular basis 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🖤💙💟

One day they will play After The Ladder and I can die happy. Until then, I'm so happy to have these. BHP is one of my all time favorite bands. Such an underrated talent, I'm so glad to see they're still playing.

To date things, I first heard After The Ladder while sitting in The Bauhaus in Seattle I don't even know when, 2003?
