Jerzy Buzek: On democracy in Europe [Teil 1]

Europe finds itself in a deep crisis. But how to find a way out of it? Jerzy Buzek, President of the European Parliament shared some ideas with his audience. The road to more stability in the European Union, according to Buzek, is the reflection on common European values. Mutual trust is the key word in times of crisis. Buzek and his ideas on domestic issues are strongly committed to a restructured electoral system in the European Union combined with greater transparency. The future lies in increased civic political participation and mutual respect - also with regard to the weakest states.
