That was the great Gary Moore on guitar. May he rest in peace. One of the greatest guitarists of all time

Great choice. Lizzy's entire catalog has aged like fine wine. So versatile.

Every single person that knows Thin Lizzy will point you towards the live version of this track. It’s heart stopping.

There was nobody in rock that could convey love and loss as convincingly as Phil Lynott. And Gary Moore on guitar was untouchable. Two of my absolute rock heroes.
Please do more Thin Lizzy, especially the Live and Dangerous album. And please do Gary Moore "Parisienne Walkways"

You absolutely need need need to listen to the live version from “Live & Dangerous” or “Live at the Rainbow”. Brian Robertson’s solo elevates it to utter perfection. It’s the definitive version of this song.

One of my all time favourite bands. Not gonna list my list of essential listening, coz I’ve already done that. Just to say, keep covering them, as and when, and you’ll keep giving me a lift on those days you do.

The live version of still in love with you is much better.

1976 at Armadillo World Headquarters in house. What a time to be young and hear so much unbelievable music all the time. Didn't know how good it was at the just lived it.

"Don't Believe A Word" has a great contrast between it's up-tempo and slower versions.

Emerald,
The Cowboy Song,
The Sun Goes Down.
Just a few great songs by Thin Lizzy

This is one of those songs which is soooo much better live. You should listen to the version on their Live and Dangerous album. It’s so much more emotional.

Phil is joined by cult Scottish blues singer Frankie Miller for the vocals on this track. Frankie is worth checking out too (RIP)

The live version from their Live and Dangerous album is THE definitive version of this song (so is their "Cowboy Song").
