I dedicate this song to the most wonderful and loving woman I could have ever known. My mom. She passed away in late of 2009, and I'm still struggling with the loss. My mom was the best; she truly was. If it wasn't for God, I would have not made it this far. This goes to you, Momma. I'll see you soon.

My mother died in my arms in 1995, and I miss her even now. Sometimes I go home and hear myself say, "I want my mommy" and I am 78. She was the mainstay for me all the years of my life.

My mom passed 18 yrs ago from breast cancer I was holding her hand when she took her last breath I immediately lost it but I heard her voice say my name I felt her spirit go straight through me and instantly I felt peace calm warmth a feeling that words really cant explain she was a Christian woman loved God even through her diagnosis and when the prognosis was grim that day has me convinced there's a Heaven and she's there waiting for me.

I just lost my mother today. This song brought many tears to my eyes. I know as a man, sometimes we are taught that we shouldn't cry., But...tears are a good thing. It helps us release many...many emotions that are bottled up inside. I know I won't forget the sight of seeing her laying in her bed..lifeless, that image and the smell sticks with you for life.

One time, I woke up. My mom told me she couldn't breathe, tears were building up, but I didn't let them fall, she went to the hospital, it was 12 am, I couldn't go back to sleep, on her way, she worried about me and my siblings, I waited for her to come back from the hospital. When she wasn't there, I bursted out in tears, they just wouldn't stop flowing. Till this day, I'm afraid to fall asleep, sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night with that tragic in mind. And I pray to god that he won't tske her away so soon.
The thought of her not being here with me, makes me sad. I'm sorry mom, sorry that I get irritated sometimes and get mad at you, I promise to do better. And thank you, you're having such a tough time yet you still manage to wake up early in the morning and work, after work, you still have work to do around the house, you have to cook for us.
