They were the BIGGEST employer in my city growing up 96-2005. They literally employed THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS and if you graduated from school here, you either worked at Blackberry or you moved out of the entire region lol that's how powerful they were. Even with the Amount of engineers we have here, it is sad none of them have the capacity to start an enterprise like this. I truly love my life now but I miss those times, there was this thing in the air like you could be the next founder of another blackberry.

Just watched this today, genuinely one of the best movies I’ve seen in ages. If this isn’t awards-worthy I don’t know what is. Everything from the acting, to the direction, to the editing, it’s all perfect. Absolutely want to watch again, and so much more than what I expected.

My first ever cellphone was a Blackberry, and by modern smartphone standards it was terrible. But at the time, man that thing was sweet. I worked at a Rogers call center at the time, and the Blackberry and iPhone fans were constantly arguing about who's device was superior lol. There was a weird period where BB tried to pivot and create their own version of a "smartphone", but it never caught on. I miss that little crunchy keyboard. RIP Blackberry 😢
