My mom suffered from CKD and ondergone Dialysis for 5 years and since then, I became our family's bread winner. She was able to endure all the complications and she was able to wait for me to save money for her kidney transplant. She is well now. And back to normal. But as this song goes, I always hold tight to my umbrella everyday. I can't seem to believe that finally we are out of the storm. Its hard to believe that Its not raining anymore. Praise God. With this kind of trauma, Its so hard to let go of that umbrella. When listening to this song it is deeply heartfelt and it feels like this is written for our family. I love this song so much. ❤

This song is bittersweet for me.

When one of my best colleagues in the office had decided to resign, my heart felt like it will explode.

Until I found this song that resonates what I feel.

He is like my own definition of rainbow. When everything in the office seems stressful and toxic, he’s the one who clarifies my mind like a rainbow after the storm. When the dark clouds of emotions fill my heart, his words of encouragement were like colors in the rainbow that instantly touched my wilting soul.

I don’t want him to leave, but it was selfish to keep him and ask him to stay because his resignation was for his betterment as a person.

If you ever read this my friend, I just want you to know that I’m still in the process of acceptance. I can’t directly say to you what I feel because I only want to keep it so that you will not be burdened.

Thank you for being my rainbow, my source of happiness. For the mean time, I’ll just embrace the dark clouds so that after a heavy downpour, I’ll see the rainbow again from the happy memories we’ve shared together 🌈
