@bicenmaths for the b part of the first question for you used the velocity but for the c part of the last question you used the displacement. Is there a way to know what to use to find the time in these cardinal directions questions.

Hi sir, im a bit confused on the questions that say things like “…the bearing on which it is travelling”, because although we use velocity in these examples, when i did the 2020 AS pure maths paper 1 (question 2), it had a question asking “…the bearing on which the boat is moving”, but you had to use the displacement? Thanks! :)

In the exam question (6) 23:25 why couldn't we use r=ro+vt to find the velocityn(u)

Can you mix and match vectors and scalars in suvat, or do vectors need to stay together and scalars need to stay together, i.e. could you use an acceleration of 2ms^-2 with an initial velocity of 2.4i - 0.6j or is that not allowed?

For the last question part b, could you have also used the equation s= (u+v/2)t instead of s=ut+1/2at^2 to get s in terms of t?

hi sir, i find it difficult to distinguish between r0 and r like when the exam question says A particle moves so that its position vector, in metres, relative to a fixed origin O at time t seconds is (2t − 3)i + (7 − 4t)j,

hi sir, when it says that an object is moving in the direction of xi, yj does this only refer to the direction of the velocity. How does the acceleration/displacement vectors relate to this, or do they only when their is constant speed?
