2.9% higher than last year which was say 8% higher than year before and say 4% the year before that. So yes 2.9 higher but say around 15% higher then 3 years ago. We need 0 inflation and some deflation to get things in check.

The carbon tax is not confusing to Canadians. They tax “your” carbon use then send a cheque back to you later to "refund" what you were taxed on. Canadians understand that they are giving me back the money they just took from me, but keeping a bit for themselves. As a result, the price of everything has increased.
