Bundesbank: The German Central Bank Needs A Bailout 💰🏦

The financial times has reported that The Bundesbank has suffered significant financial losses from bond-buying programs and needs "financial recapitalization" which is financial speak for more money

The Banks audit department stated that “The possible Bundesbank losses are substantial and could necessitate a recapitalization of the [bank] with budgetary funds”

The bank announced bond losses of 1 billion euro in March, but said that they wouldn't need any government assistance. It seems they have changed their tune just 3 months later

This is concerning as Germany is the 4th largest economy in the world
