Putin refuses to give guarantee Navalny will survive prison

Vladimir Putin has refused to give any guarantee that the opposition leader Alexei Navalny will get out of prison alive, saying nobody imprisoned in Russia should be given exclusive treatment.

In an extended and testy interview with NBC News before his Geneva summit with Joe Biden, the Russian president refused to use Navalny's name, leaving journalist Keir Simmons to say 'his name is Alexei Navalny'.

If you think that Putin didn't put Navalny in jail as personal revenge, then why isn't he ever mentioning Navalny by his name? For ten years since Navalny went public, Putin has never ever said his name when answering reporters.

Alexei Navalny, I've just seen the "Storyville" Documentary on BBC2 while I had trouble sleeping one night, while thinking about all my worries. I've just lost both my parents before Christmas and I have addiction issues since they passed away, but after seeing your Documentary, my problems aren't big at all. What a brave man. 👏
