IS this based on a true story?. The Amish/Mennonite are not perfect but certainly can be as flawed as we all are. Yet, if they are
being singled out as the perpetrators it is not a positive way to portray their group. The Amish had a tragic shooter incident in one of
their churches or schools. There was a documentary about this. They forgave whoever did it and did not hate or want to get even. They live simple lives compared to the rest of us. Many live without electricity or cars. They try to keep their children away from the "modern" world and all of its' habits. Yet to portray the men as rapists is criminal.

Every aspect of this, from the title, to the premise, to the ad campaign, to the fawning critical recommendations makes every fiber of my being scream out in pain and existential fear. If anything, what you offer as selling points sound like the frantic clicking of a Geiger counter to me, warning me that this product is the same kind of radioactive waste pop culture has been drowning in for over a decade. I and countless others are done treating the entitled whinging of the "fairer sex" as groundbreaking, visionary, or deep, and I will not subject myself to the same tired torture of sitting through it again.

May God have mercy on your souls.
