I think you should get a loan and buy your own vehicle and look into section 179 in the tax code. Vehicles over 6000 pounds you can write off almost all the cost of the car in 1 year. Basically, the government lets you depreciate out the vehicle in one year rather than 5 or 7 years. Most passenger vehicles are not over 6000lbs, but you can still possibly take the deduction over a couple years instead of one year. The only down side is that you'll never be able to deduct business miles again. You'd have to itemize all your deductions, fuel, etc. Hope that makes sense to you.

I think some models of black luxury SUVs like an Escalade can be 6000lbs. In that case, you should be able to take section 179 and pay off the whole car in a year without your own money.

Bro you’re paying entirely too much for that car. I know maybe your circumstances can’t permit you to get yours but try as much to get out of that rental. I got inspired by watching your videos. Just like you I was paying Hertz $3k a month for a freaking Tesla rental. Now I got a suburban and my note is $1030 a month and I’ll be able to make more than I was doing Uber X. Great video! thank so much, i have one question, I try to open uber black account, however on the first step of the application it require me to provide vehicle information, like model, Vin number, tag number and insurance. Because of that I am not able to proceed to the next step, Do I have to rent vehicles first to proceed ? I am stuck on that step. Buying your own car is an expense, insurance is an expense, TCP license is an expanse. Yo did waht you did and it was smart move. You have learned what you have learned. based on that you can move on, to owning your own car. I did uber eats during the pandemic. I rented Car from Avis. If I drove less than 700 miles per weak, I paid $174. It made sense to pay rather than kill my own car. I drove less than 700 miles, for I controledd what distance trips i wanted to take.
