the way that the whole book foreshadows the ending is crazy, like the conversation between Jamie and Autumn abt Romeo and Juliet, Angie getting pregnant, Sasha and autumn competing for Jamie and literally any other major plot point is all foreshadowed this book destroyed me

I finished this book today at school, I was smiling the whole time till the last 4 chapters. I was in class when I suddenly started sobbing and every one was looking at me. Anyways that was off topic, but I really really enjoyed the book butI just wish that the ending didn't happen, I was finally getting excited till everything went downhill. I imagined so much for their future when they found out that they were meant to be and how they finally got with each other. I loved the characters and that made it hurt even more when finny died. I still randomly start crying when I think about finny. (I cried while writing this) I love autumn and finny forever and this is one book I'll never forget.

I was really anti autumn most of the book until the shit with Jamie. And I was kinda on the fence until that point. But after finishing it I’m just so empty? Like my chest aches and I feel unfulfilled. It’s like someone dangled a carrot in front of me for years and gave me one bite and then hit me with a bus.

I think my brain went blank at the 1st chapter and I ignored all of the red flags and this isn’t typically a type of book I read… I swear I laughed when I read the almost last chapter which started by saying Finny died… I was like “HA, just a dream”… and then I realized and I could not stop sobbing.
Finished it like an hour ago and I just can’t, idk, it wasn’t supposed to go that way
