Well son of a gun! 2 years ago I was having a difficult time shooting mangroves with my spear pulling loose. The next year I decided to put a little bend in the end to help it flip open after it exited the other side of the fish. After that I was having a hell of a time pegging fish. I’m usually a sniper and can drill mangroves right behind the eyeball most of the time but I found myself missing and missing. I just thought the quick little turds were sensing my trigger pulls and bolting like they like to do. I never thought that the bend I put in my flipper was influencing my shot placement. Live and learn. Thanks bud!

Going back to watch your older videos and have turned my wife and both sons onto your channel. My oldest son rents a house on Marathon for a couple weeks once or twice a year and we try to come down an fish a few days each trip. Love seeing the underwater shots.

My Girlfriend and I bought a house in Costa Rica and started off snorkeling. We found a local captain that has great traditional fishing spots and we are about to dive into the world of spearfishing in those reefs to harvest our fish we eat. I have been hooked on the channel, thanks for putting in the time and effort to make these videos and educating us and fueling our dreams.

Love your channel Aaron, love the diversity of the subjects, especially the cooking recipes at the end. The only thing I'd say is don't worry about repeating yourself on different episodes, because as you said you never know when people join and start watching your channel. I would like to suggest one thing that I have not seen any videos on, but what every person who spearfishes must know and that is fish ID without colors. I'd like to know what you look at that, in a split second use to determine which snapper or grouper you are looking at on deeper dives. May or may not make a good subject, but would help with conservation as well.
