Playing Spin Rhythm XD with a Modified DJ Hero Controller

I modified this DJ Hero controller to play Spin Rhythm XD! This is the Wii version of the turntable, and in place of a Wiimote I'm using a microcontroller with some custom firmware. The microcontroller connects to the turntable, polls it for data, then converts the inputs into keyboard and mouse controls for Spin Rhythm XD. The controller is plug + play with the game's default settings and no driver or other software is required on the PC.

All gameplay was recorded using early access version 1.0.35 (158). I'm playing with the "Hold Mouse to Move" option disabled because I find it more comfortable, but the controller works with the setting "on" as well.

- "Checkpoint" by Hyper Potions & Nitro Fun
- "Highscore" by Panda Eyes and Teminite

Why the wii version of the controller and not the ps3 one?
