I was telling Jeff that this video reminded me of when my mom would make strawberry rhubarb pie like this. She mastered the lattice. I know that isn’t easy, at least not for me. I always start to build my lattice from the middle of the pie, that way you never need to fully peel back the already placed crust strips. Just makes it a bit easier, IMO, to start placing the opposite strips into the center and working your way out on each side! Definitely need to make a big, fat pie soon!

Now I'm craving blueberry pie! The only thing stopping me from making one right now is that I can't eat a whole pie by myself, and my wife and daughter won't eat fruit pies. 😐 I guess this is another one that will have to wait until the right company is coming. One question, though: you made the pie directly in what looks like an aluminum pan, and you didn't even grease the pan, at least not on camera. How do you prevent the pie from sticking?

I know you're an expert in Ninja. I know that you didn't use a ninja product in this video, but I have a question about ninja foodi FD302. I bought one this month, and it arrived today, I unpacked and checked the product, during this process I noticed that the Ninja Foodi has a little unstable when you put it in a surface, like a table, it swings back and forth a little. Is it normal? All Ninjas Foodi do it or should I ask for a replacement?
