The no dip 3 is insanely difficult. Thank you for pointing this out.

What makes him truly special (other than his infinite bag of tricks and finishes) are two things imo: 1) Being perfectly ambidextrous. Quite a few players can finish with both hands well, but the difficulty of some of his shots with his weaker hand is insane. He has elite touch with both hands.
2) His balance. His body control is truly unique. He gets extremely low on some of his dribbles and can still keep balance, then jump up, control his torso perfectly and be nimble while slowly coming down and still finish.
Truly the most skilled player I have ever seen (and probably in NBA history)

Kyrie’s remarkable ability to play both as an on ball attacker + play off ball is a skillset which is almost impossible to guard.

One thing that is underrated about Kyrie, is his bounce. He has a very good amount of hangtime resulting in insane finishes around the rim. This doesnt get talked about much imo

Kyrie is the Art of Basketball. Skills, style, mindset, hangtime, finishing, shooting.the man is an elite offensive player.

I love these breakdowns of when elite players drop 50+ points. Just shows how they take full advantage of bad defensive teams during every moment of the game. They'll play bad D against every team but only a handful of players can take full advantage of every bad moment and have career nights.

Always when a player scores like this most people think "wow, he's amazing!!" but what i think is: how the opposing defense were and how the player's team played. If the defense is weak, nothing more needs to be said, and even if is moderately strong (not exactly the best in the league) if is a one man offense the result is going to be this. Knowing the contest become crucial for truly understanding the value of a result.

That being said, for his size, the amount of points is still increably impressive. Really inspiring for smaller player who want to attack the basket.

Edit: i wrote this before watching and it's crazy that the video starts exactly with this!!!!

High level performance is temporary,
"high tendency to skip games" is permanent for Lord Ky
....
Lord Ky next potential excuses to skip games
1. Volunteering for war in Europe
2. Ramadhan (even though legend like Hakeem played through it)
3. Anti booster movement
4. Mental health
5. Personal issues
6. Eyelash injury
7. Babysitting Ben
8. Going to space to prove earth is flat

Kyrie can go pound for pound with any nba scorer and has been improving every season, if Kyrie can stay heathy and start playing more games, I can see him be an mvp maybe even next year

All i can think about is "what if KD had Kyrie on the Thunder instead of Russ?". They'd have probably won in 2012 along with a few more rings. KD would've never left.

Kyrie is an artist and the court is his cavas. Offensive flow, balance and finesse at its best.

This shows what kyrie and kd can do, after kyrie has over 30 in the first half they still are in kds face the entire time and you can't blame them

Hey Coach a 37 year old player just scored 100+ points over 2 games while playing for a g-league caliber team, you thinking about a breakdown sometime?

He was on course for 70... it's a shame, he went out. Happend to Klay as well, a few years back. Sure, the game is decided, but if you have a chance for a once in a lifetime scoring night... take it... :)

My 2 most favorite things besides of course the beautiful layups is when he runs and gets a pass and doesn't stop running and the 2nd is when he gets a pass and doesn't even bring the ball down and just shoots

Ky has an insane amount of balance, core strength and coordination. People saying this man isn't one of the most skilled we've ever saw is likely just hating on Kyrie over the vaccine BS.
