Thank you, Lisa, for this really insightful discussion.

I have learned and jotted down quite a number of pointers e.g being intentional with the planning for the children's activities, the brain development btn 2-7yrs among several other nuggets.

Diana thank you for this, you will surely eat of the fruits of your labour and it shall be well with you.  I also left 8 to 5 employment last year and decided to settle into work that requires me to function remotely so that I can give our growing family ample time. I resonated with most of what was discussed 💯

The children at home are happier, look healthier, we have "quality quantity time together" even my husband seems happier. The interesting part I want to share is that I have had plenty of time to reflect on my own life, work out a plan to "weed out the tares that have for so long been growing in my wheat field" Stuff like crippling debt, unhealthy friendships, spiritual depravity among so many other fixtures.

Life is a series of choices and the universe is our oyster, once you determine your goal, the way to to it will be made clear as you embark on the journey. You just have to take that step of faith! Be blessed ladies!

Really good. I always saw my children as projects. Children are the first projects before we run other projects. " I was so torn between a job and a business" because I wanted to give my child enough time. I remember one time writing to my cousin who was pursuading me to look for a job yet I needed him to help me with a little capital to start a business " I don't believe in living a child with a maid, relative or grandmother to go and work" I needed a job that could enable me work with my children because my children are a project and it must be a successful project. And eventually, being a teacher now, thank God I am able to work with my children too
