A 2000 in white and green lettering box. Nice to see them in great shape!

Yes, you are correct! You actually can put 2MB of chip ram directly on board for the A2000, populating the upper half and using right size memory chips. But, doing so, it will require you to use a 8372B or 8372AB Fat Agnus, the ones that were used only into the A3000. All the 8375 Agnus 2MB are simply incompatible with the socket pinouts for the 8372A/B. Having said that, what a splendid lab full of pretty toys you have! Cheers, M

That Amiga 2000 computer is now my "Bridgeboard" Amiga computer. You can see why I spray painted the front plastic cover light blue.

I also used to be a fan of Rev 6A boards over older boards. Even have a 6A in my original Amiga 500 from back in the day. That was until I discovered that my Rev 5 boards has better RGB picture quality VS my Rev 6As. I have like 4 6As and 3 Rev 5s. Rev 5s shows a noticeable better picture quality VS my Rev 6As. so I put a 8372A Agnus in one of my Rev 5s to get 1MB chip when using ACA 500 and set that one up as my main 500.

My original A500 comes in blue and black box in '93. I haven't seen nice white with waves in person!

I bought my amiga 500 new in 1987. it came with a monitor and the 501 memory board and was 2000$ I later bought the supra 500 xp with 4 meg of fast ram new for 1000$ then I added the supra turbo 28. I now have it setup with the scsi to sd card in the 500xp and a gotek usb to a floppy drive . I love the old amiga. Take Care

Hi Hans, can I ask a question? Years ago did you put an A500 mainboard or an A1200 mainboard into a PC tower case?
