An octave fuzz exploration!!!

Octave fuzz maybe one of the most misunderstood effects in my personal opinion. Here's an exploration of various octave fuzz pedals and circuits, as well as how I set them up.

Solid exploration of the types of octave fuzz and how each one interacts and projects in such unique ways. Personally I'm a massive fan of the Foxx Tone Machine style as the octave remains vivid everywhere on the guitar & creates beautifully disgusting dissonance with minor/extended chords. That said they all do a thing & all those things are awesome.

You are a scientist Matt! Thankfully you share your concoctions of fuzzy sounding pedal creations. I really enjoy your enthusiasm and passion for sound and sharing sound ideas. Hopefully your mother-in-law’s cat doesn’t try to make you electronics his own with his signature chemistry that is unique for every feline. I have multiple cats so I know about that. Bless them, Have you ever considered recording your video’s using expensive digital equipment that could be purchased and downloaded from your Patreon website so we can hopefully enjoy the exceptional dynamic response you enjoy with your ear-buds, I watched your video about them and still working on obtaining some myself to experience that amazing sound. I have some decent over the ear AKG studio headphones now. Let me know if there is a trick to improving the sound quality obtained from the YouTube videos. Thanks so much for sharing, if it were not for you I never would have thought about playing Lap steel. I’m really having a ton of fun with it. 😊
