My first Kitbashes!

Do you want to know where it all started? I absolutely love kitbashing and in this video I wanted to show you my first attempts. Because I still have the two miniatures that started it all! Kitbashing is the art of mashing existing kits together to create something new. This can go from a simple head- or weapon swap to something more elaborate, as I show in this video: the Scout Walker and the Scout Dragon. The walker was inspired by the Matrix movies, the Dragon evolved from there. Oh and I completely failed to mention in the video: I had to make a custom base for the walker, as it was too wide to fit a standard Dreadnought base. So i cut and glued a Terminator base to it as a fine solution :). This was before all those fancy new big bases, people!
And for some reason there's a black border around my video that I can't get rid of. Ah well, you win some, you lose some!

Very cool to see your older pieces. Already great stuff for 16 year old work.
