I had no idea I was putting beer in the fridge wrong all these years. Learn something new every day. 👍

Somewhere out there. Another great Canadian by the name of Red Green is watching with a great deal of pride. 👍

Somehow, I happened upon an empty thighmaster cardboard box. Had Suzanne Summers demonstrating it's use on the cover. Kept my '80 F100 warm all winter.

Here's one for you. Back in 1978 over Christmas, my wife and I and a friend were driving from Vancouver to a place south of Golden BC in 77 Honda Civc. And it was COLD in the mountains (-25 with no wind chill outside). Going uphill was fine; going down, not so much. Towards the bottom of the big inclines the engine got so cold (from not working) that it was freezing inside the car, literally. I knew what the problem was, but didn't have anything to use as a winterfront, until I spotted our old Rand McNally Giant Road Atlas. So, I ripped off the cover (a light cardboard) and stuffed it in the grill. Problem solved. Bet you can't do that with a GPS. Ha.

how to ensure you get pulled over every weekend in the winter- block your radiator with an empty beer case. your video was fantastic as always

Thanks for not having those crappy commercials at the beginning that we suffer through.

This reminded me of watching Mr Dressup for grown adults. Just missing Casey and a Finnigan. 😆 🤣
Keep up the good work.

You’ve got to be precise when inserting your wire above, not in, the deer hole. Best advice so far in 2024.

Don’t forget the feed sack & tarp strap for the tractor, works in a pinch or all winter! Happy new year from Iowa.

Hahaha loved it. I've had MANY winterfronts over the years but it never dawned on me until now that every single one of them was homemade. Thanks for the memories.

Stay warm my friend.

I remember my Dad putting a shovel with fire burning on it, he had a diesel Thames Trader lorry and if it went below freezing, it had difficulty starting, this was back in the UK 1960s. My chore was to hang lanterns, filled with paraffin, on the lorry, for overnight street parking, good times.

First place I noticed this was in London England. The iconic English black cabs had their grills covered because the cooling systems couldn't cope with 5 celsius.

Great job. If placed behind the grill, directly in front of the radiator, paper bags will work as well. At according to the Wisconsin Winter Regulation.

As a native of Victoria B.C., I’ve never needed a winter front (we’ve still got flowers blooming). Thanks for the gut busting informational tutorial. If I EVER see -10 or colder I’ll consider a twofer before heading out.
