Broooo this is such a concept though, a Karl who has seen EVERYTHING who needn't boundaries anymore, who is distant and only will to fight is because of pure want since he has no need anymore. A Karl who is the purest form of chaotic good there ever could be. And yet still hangs onto the dear and close to him even though he has no need to. In this form, this state of mind, this state of power. He hangs onto what is dear to him and what he thinks is right. That is just a fucking amazing character idea, it's incredibly unique and I love it.

I didn't really understand that the speaker was Karl until the very end and that reveal gave me so many chills, this whole animatic is so awesome and well done <33 I've rewatched it soo many times

This speech was already an emotional one, but paired with this final altercation between inbetween karl and dream, the possibility of dream deciding the world he has he doesn't want fixed by karl, and then seeing everything laid bare. all of karl's journeys flooding him, drenching him to tears. powerful stuff. ya nailed it

it would be so cool if, for the finale, Karl either A. Kills the Dreamon and reveals our Dream was inbetween time and universes, or B. Karl uses his knowledge of the timelines to fight Dreamon/Egg, accuracy from the WildWest, sneak from the manor, perception from the beach episode, and manipulation/speech from The Lost City

I friggin love Karl. I so desperately want him to get all his memories back and live in peace. He's been through so much. But I do enjoy this interpretation of him; like after he's time-traveled many times and has gathered wisdom and all that good stuff. I like the idea of him being this powerful being that's accumulated knowledge over many years.

This actually hit me. There has been no other SMP animatic I have watched that actually made me feel like my heart was stopped the whole time it was playing. I felt the emotions building in the characters come as tears behind my eyes. This was a powerful animatic and it wasn't just the audio.

When I first saw it I thought Karl was Dream XD for a bit but around 1:07 the audio mentioned time war and time lords and I realised that the audio was from doctor who and I was like “wait it’s Karl isn’t it” and it was!
Really tho this is great! The audio fits perfectly and I love the storyline!
