Vlog #35 - Digitizing long forgotten 35mm slide film with a shoe box scanner! (Paris, France)

I spent a few days catching up with my aunt and uncle in Paris, France. Lucky for me they have been living here since the 1960's, used to own a few cafes, and cook some amazing meals at home. I uncovered about 1,200 35mm slides that haven't seen the light of day in over 40 years. Being obsessed with photography and old photographs, I spent 2 days digitizing them with a home made slide scanner. One of my favorite photos of their collection, a topless uncle who has a cigarette in his mouth and paddling a boat out on a lake. This photo just summarizes how badass of an Uncle I have!
