Well, it looks like Hien's plan is working. Now Duyen's father is leaving & she's splitting up the family. Duyen needs to tell Long to stay away from her & forbid him to go anywhere near her property. She should also forbid Long from coming to get water. Let him dig his own well or go to the stream for water & boil it for consumption just like Duyen had to do. She also needs to set traps & lock up all of her things, kitchen & house, when she is out harvesting. The only way to get rid of Long off the property is for Duyen or her father to contact Mr. Sung about the dirty dealings & attacks going on & how Long & Hien both are hurting Duyen & her family. After all, it's the reason he purchased the farm from Landlady & John to begin with. So that Duyen wouldn't have to move & she's safe in her own home, but he can't do anything until someone notifies him. Mr. Sung won't tolerate what Hien & Long are doing to Ly Duyen. He still loves & tries to protect her...
But the writers don't listen to viewers anyway, so why do we bother giving advice? 🤷‍♀️

Hi ...I find it fascinating that dad calls Long's house his because he helped build it. ..I thought he was just being helpful and doing as Sung asked. But apparently, with each nail and bamboo tie he was labeling the house his. ..He's got Long's house..the house next door.. house on the other side of the hills; just houses everywhere. ..If he touches your house..it's his.
Suppose those officers who helped build Duyen's house came over and said, "We're going to stay here for awhile. We built this house..so it's ours to live in if we want. Does that sound logical? ..To me all they deserved is what they got a grateful "Thank you". And that's all that dad deserves as well. Just because he helped to build the house in no way makes the house his..so he can invite himself over whenever he wants and stay as long as he wants.
This is not due to any great fondness for Long. It's about delusional stubborness..right and wrong. ..It's Long's house. And Long should be allowed to make the rules for his house. ..Dad never said " If I help you have a home you have to let me run everything that happens there." Had he made that stipulation..Long might have said "..nah-hh..I'd rather sleep in the woods." 😏🙂

That's why he wouldn't let her go after hearing what mom had to say..or even after he suspected she was committing fraud and misusing and overstepping her authority.
