White's lead times have improved tremendously. I bought a pair of C350 Cruisers in tobacco waxed suede during the black Friday sale. They were on backorder due to needing an EE width. Four weeks to the day they were in the mail, should arrive early next week in Australia. I agree with the color, does look grey although in another photo more brown so be interesting to see what they look like. All my boots are either black or dark brown so wanted something a little lighter in color anyway. I cancelled a limited leather MTO with Nicks. Lead times have been saying April for nearly two months now. At the speed it's going 12 months looked possible and yea I'm just not prepared to wait that long either.

They sure do look like Timberlands, especially if you put those synthetic laces in them. I like the kilties in them, looks good.
Perfect for chores! 🙂

I have the same issue with the vamp closing to close on my Perry selects. It almost looks like they don't fit but they fit.

Glad I got them but doubt I'll get another pair from them.

Good points on the heel, it does stick out. I have the Fultons, definitely notice that heel hitting my other boot when I walk sometimes. But it’s one of my favorite outsoles for versatility and durability. I’ll take it over my Vibram 100X’s in my logger boots.

Thanks for sharing your reservations about White’s, and the cutter in particular. I was on the fence about a pair, and ended up getting another Sherman during the sale.
I did get a pair of the Filson collab chore boots 2 years ago for a great price. They are definitely a cut rate model within the brand. Probably more actuarial bs behind it.
Best wishes for the new year.

I had these for a bit. Never warmed up to them and I wasn’t happy with the leather that the Filson version had. It was a thinner suede.

It seems like most of Whites offerings were in stock and shipped in 48hrs. I scored some 4Q engineers and am pretty happy with them.

White's Fanboy since day 1. Own about 20 pairs including the chore boot here. Lead times will always be why White's stays the best in my opinion and I find their customer service to be way better than the other brands. Having said that, My thoughts on the chore boot are average. My style and the way I like to dress means I just don't get to wear my chore boots that much(I don't care for or really like the honey vibram outsole) but I still think overall they fit the work boot aesthetic especially if picked up on sale, they can get the job done and last if needed even as a more cost efficient and good year welted model.

Right.. lead times are wack... BUT..
I'll now have gotten 3 pretty involved MTOs from Frank's by next week.. two from Labor Day and one from Black Friday.. just waiting on delivery for the Labor Day one.. meanwhile, Bakers/ White's still hasn't come through for my Bounty Hunters from Father's Day.. idk, they just don't care at White's

The boots look great. I’m not sure if the eyelets are we issues or if it’s designed that way. I had a pair of hiking boots before from a mass produced manufacturer. And they also had it just like that, but they were supposed to be that way

Am I nuts or is the Distressed RO darker than normal? I know leather hides can vary slightly. I think my latest pair of 64 Tan RO was a shade darker than my 1st pair of 64 Tan RO I have.
