Don't be a LID!! Don't tune your radio on or near the operating frequency of a CW operator!
How to, or more importantly, how to not tune up your radio on CW. Don't be a QRM'er! Listen to what it sounds like to a POTA activator when someone tunes up on or near their operating frequency.
The watts per mile on CW is a lot more than SSB. Even at 1 watt, 2 watts, 5 watts, if you tune up on or near the operating frequency of a CW activator, there is a VERY good chance you WILL cause QRM to the activator and/or their hunters.
Forgot to mention, on 60 meters you MUST tune up badly because FCC says CW must be on the center of the channel
