Installing the DeLorean Hood Seal

Most DeLoreans still have their original hood seals installed - usually cracked in the corners, loose and falling off - sometimes missing altogether! The procedure for replacing the hood seal is explained and demonstrated in this video - thanks for watching!

I just installed your WONDERFUL improved fans! Love them! I'm sure other owners would adore a fan swap tutorial...the job is an absolute nightmare and there is little guidance online, but I've discovered a few tips that help immensely that I would have loved to know beforehand! :) My knuckles are all scrapped up and my fingers are raw...but SO worth it!

It would be a good upgrade to shape the seal to the track. no bending of the seal would happen and installation would be easier.

I wonder should i use a HEAT gun to soften the Seal strip, make it easy to bend, when attach it in the corner ?

On the hood, it it possible to remove the stainless panel from the backing structure so that I can fix a couple of small dents?
