He could catch anything, was impossible to match up with, loved to block, and played through pain.
LBs were too slow to cover him, DBs were too small to take him down.
He could block the top rushers one-on-one.
He progressed each and every year skills wise.

I was at Mile High stadium looking down at Gronk from the 5th level and almost saw him take over the game in 2015, but Broncos squeaked out a nail biter. Gronk defines football in every category, checks all the boxes. A lot of great tight ends out there in history, but he was my favorite even though the Pats weren't my team.
