The crab alone cost 5, 125 without GST. Which is exorbitant, a single crab of 1.6 kg will cost a maximum of 900 rupees. It looked like less than 1.5 kg. I can understand charging triple of that amount but 6 times the price.

For that price you can buy a freaking huge lobster in a restaurant in Japan.

Always remember to ask them for removing the service charge, will decrease the bill amount considerably

According to the Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA), service charges are optional and voluntary. The CCPA issued guidelines in July 2022 that state that restaurants and hotels should not automatically add service charges to the bill. The guidelines also state that service charges should not be collected by adding it to the food bill and levying GST on the total amount. The Delhi High Court has also asked restaurants to use the term "staff contribution" for the amount they are claiming from their customers as a "service charge".
