Use all the pings. The ping wheel is brilliant, easy to use and clear. You can have entire conversations and know what you're doing without saying anything. And if you are on mic but saying something else at the time just pinging that you're "looting here" for example is a great reference point for your teammates to keep track.

Not only should you break off from you team to ensure you are all getting loot, but you should also be mindful of how close/far away you are landing next to your teammates when landing right next to other teams. I’ve been knocked because my teammate is looting for gun attachments two building away from me while I’m 1v3ing the team that landed right by us as I ping and proceed to wait over a minute before my teammates get to me

One I tell people is don't be afraid to change a kitted weapon or load-out to adjust to your team play or team comp, or situation. Especially later in game or when you see how the end rings are pulling.
Unless I'm up on some HG when rings are getting tighter, Ill check a deathbox with a CAR or Volt, etc. and drop that Gscout. Double CAR for example like that has won me games I'm sure. Lobas make it easy of course.

Great video and great tips!! Only thing I would say I do different for my game is my team doesn’t break away from each other we look for opportunities to 3v1 someone off drop and quickly make the fight a 3v2

The armor before health rule vs the armor swapping rule can be confusing to some newer players, so easy way to think of it is armor swap first, heal health, swap back heal armor. This is from the position of a solo queuer, but this has been the biggest frustrating rule for me to discipline into myself but also has kept me alive MUCH more often than not.

If you didn't know you don't flinch if you get shit at when you have armor on but if they hit you on health you will flinch and miss more shots

Looting needs to be quick and set a goal or a good idea of what you need, typically your legend, map, and skill play a huge role in picking out your weapons. By the time you loot 3 POIs/areas, you could've already killed a team, possibly better loot, good positioning, upgrading your evo, etc.

I also like to follow the rule of having at least two of the three types of legends: Recon, defensive, team movement. I never want to have more than one of legends like loba, fuse, vantage, ect. Otherwise I think a team will overall be not as competitive as other teams.

I disagree with your split off rule. I think the best way to land at any drop with even a single team is as close together as you can without basically stealing loot from under your teammates. This is because the worst thing can can happen is when early on, a teammate gets knocked or takes a two on one, and you aren't almost immediately there to capitalize on the damage they did or the knock on one of two people they were fighting. Within a distance you can quickly respond to a knock of your teammates is crucial.

Great video tho. I think you're the best Apex YouTuber for sure. Never do I feel mislead or tricked by captions and I always feel like your videos offer insight beyond gameplay.
