I Am An Instrument Vol. 2 (100% improvised music)

After the initial success of their first release, IAAI Vol. 1. which gained support from world-renowned tastemaker Gilles Peterson, getting plays on BBC6, Worldwide FM and gaining attention from a handful of Dj’s at DR P8 jazz, I Am An Instrument comes strong with IAAI Vol. 2. Taken from a live concert in Copenhagen, Denmark, the band starts off with the polyrhythmic percussion of Eliel Lazo and the solid foundation laid down by drummer Stunn Gunn. Jonathan Bremer and Steven Jess Borth II (CHLLNGR) play off of each other on bass and electric guitar while Johannes Wamberg entrances everyone with a solo that flows in and out of different musical worlds. Part two features Morten McCoy on the Moog One using his distinctive style to create beautiful and unexpected melodies over meditative rhythms. IAAI Vol. 2 was created on the spot and every note was improvised as with all other I Am An Instrument releases. IAAI Vol. 2 is out on April 24th on IAAI Music.
