Amen Bro. Mark thank you for being honest. Everyone goes through this junk. Not everyone is courageous enough to admit it. I want to encourage you and your family to keep on keeping on. Don't loose the vision of the vocation God has called you for/ in ministering to the broken. Yes all believers do broken things. And even though we do there is still forgiveness in Jesus. Psalm 130:3

I’ve Be been brought up around Christians my whole life, an I grew up in a church some of my life. But I never really was interested in Jesus I went to church for my friends and food THATS THE TRUTH.
I am 14 turning 15 in may and I just recently started being serious with god, I understand what the preacher is say and what people is telling me now, back then I sorta understand and I really didn’t care. Now I care now i know what Jesus offers for me and the consequences I have if I don’t take the offer and I understand that it’s the best gift I could receive. Ik now that life is so much better with god and I’m grateful, but I feel lost I’m not sad I’m just lost and Confused on where to start my new Christian life, like I said I’m 15 I can’t drive myself to church so it’s difficult getting there, I don’t have a bible, and I don’t know what I am reading off google is gods REAL WORDS. I don’t know where to start. I ask myself do I get baptized first, do I get a Bible?, what Bible do I get? I have so many questions that I need answered. So I started off with praying, I pray every night before bed, I stopped cussing, over eating, I try not to judge, I still struggle with temptation, and other stuff but I’ve been working on it and I don’t feel like it’s good enough, I don’t read the Bible and I don’t go to church. But I asked Jesus to guide me where I need to be, and to give me a starting line I’m lost where do I start my journey which direction do I go in? And after I prayed this multiple times Ik Jesus was listening but he wasn’t guiding me so I prayed even more and tonight I was scrolling threw YouTube trying to find a video and I found your video💕this is my starting point. I am going to watch you preach to me when I can’t make it to church, I’m gonna ask my church for a Bible, and I’m gonna pay attention to what your saying bc you are my hope you are my starting point right now. Thank you for making YouTube sessions of you preaching I was struggling to find my start and it was in front of my face all along😄

Thank you, this week has been hard watching things I knew were coming but prayed would not come to pass...It feels like I've lost someone who I've loved my whole life, I played in a Christian band w excellent Male/Female singers and did several of your wonderful songs. Ive been caught up in our country's troubles, not halfway through this video broke into tears, realizing even though I'm talking about Gods principles and commands, my heart has wandered to love of country and safety of my kids/grandchildren over my devotion and trust of God. This video created a response in my heart, and longing for allowing the Lord to be first in all things again. He will use these trying times to his Glory!

Very good illustrations! We can use the Bible as a rock to throw and instead need to look into it as a mirror that reflects who we really are. Thanks for sharing this devotional.
