My 16 yo asked if he could show me a song, then played this for me. Needless to say, tears ensued. I asked what the song meant to him. He said, “It’s relatable. We struggle sometimes, but I appreciate everything you do for me. I just love you.” (He is in music theater, writing a musical for his Capstone project.)

I grew up poor, I self studied software development in my bedroom throughout my twenties with no degree. Now I’m in my thirties making good money working in the industry.
