For the 16th time already, Markus Rehm (GER), Rushwal Samaai (RSA) and Nastassia Mironchyk-Invanova (BLR), along with some of the best pole vaulters and long jumpers in the world, met in the historic old town of Innsbruck (AUT) for the Golden Roof Challenge 2020.
In front of almost 700 spectators the athletes competed in an exciting competition. In close cooperation with the authorities, the organizers were able to develop a hygiene concept that made it possible to admit spectators to the event under strict conditions.
In the men's long jump, star jumper and darling of the public Markus Rehm (GER) secured 3rd place with 7.94 meters. The victory went to the South African Rashwal Samaai with a distance of 8.03 meters.
