Perseverance-A Virtual Lead-up to Landing Event

As the official NASA Glenn Visitor Center, Great Lakes Science Center will hold a virtual event leading-up to the landing of NASA’s Perseverance rover on Mars on Thursday, February 18. The event will feature discussions with NASA Glenn subject matter experts and include a hands-on challenge activity that teachers and families can do live from their classrooms or homes during the virtual broadcast. This broadcast will then transition directly into the live NASA broadcast of Perseverance’s landing starting at 2:15 p.m. and culminating with touchdown in Jezero Crater on Mars at approximately 3:55 p.m
