Eating Thai Food IN A RIVER in the THAI JUNGLE! (we went in an airplane cafe) 🇹🇭

In this video, we ride our motorbike into the Northern Thailand Jungle, through Chiang Mai and Mae Rim to have TWO very special experiences!!
First up, we arrive at Thap Rim Than Restaurant, in the Mae Rim District to experience lunch on the river, a very popular way to enjoy your weekend for local Thais in the area! We had some Thai Food, a coffee, and enjoyed the rushing water from the Mae Sa River.
After this, we explored the Mon Jam/Mae Sa area, riding through the mountains, and taking a look at the local Thai Villages and Waterfalls from above.
We then dropped in at Air Diamond Cafe to enjoy a coffee from an ACTUAL AIRPLANE! This cafe is inside an Airbus A330 Airplane that resides just 30 minutes north of Chiang Mai itself - a definitely worthy day trip!

Hi Josie & Michael, thanks for your videos! So much fun. In an earlier video you asked about advice how to start eating more spicy food. My advice—start with noodles. You will notice a lot of places will have a little caddy of condiments at the table, like salt and pepper you’d see in the West. The caddy usually has 4 containers. And like salt and pepper, one of the condiments is nam pla for saltiness, and one is usually powdered dried chili (phrik pon) for dry, smoky (?) spiciness. Another container will have sugar, and one will have vinegar in some form, usually with some chili chopped up in it. So together, you have salt, sweet, sour, and spicy covered! After they get their order, most people will taste and then adjust the flavors to their liking. Nice thing is that you’re in charge of how much you put in! One of my cousins loves sour flavors, another likes it very spicy. So even if they both order the same bowl of noodles, the flavors will be very different according to how they season it at the table. Good luck!
