How To Export & Import MIDI Files in FL Studio 20

This video will show you how to export and import midi files in FL Studio 20. The procedure is the same in earlier versions as well. MIDI files are very useful because it's an industry-standard file format, and will, therefore, work in every daw.

This can be useful if you want to collaborate with someone who are using another daw, and you want to send them your ideas. Or if you simply want to save your melodies as individual files for later use.

I was sitting there deleting the midi pack downloading again installing it done it three times haha . started resorting to the YouTube brains trust and saw this . Went and read the comments and saw a reply with a similar problem and saw that I needed to open it onto the piano roll to hear it . thanks so much I'm shocking with computers and thought I half installed it or something like that.

This is helpful, although how do you export if you're using soundfonts? I try moving the tracks to FLEX, yet somehow the midi is always empty
