Russia warns of 'retaliatory measures' over Finland's NATO membership

Why should Russia have any right to retaliate for Finland joining NATO? Russia has nothing to worry about if it doesn't attack other countries. On the other hand, Putin does have to worry about being held accountable for his war crimes.
