I've used, Stabil fuel stabilizer for at least twenty year's. I add it in my gas can's and use all season. Never a problem.

I bought my snowblower and lawnmower brand new 4 years ago and I only use True Fuel in them and so far I haven’t had any carburetor issues or no starts in either of them. They both can be stored in my garage for months without being started and when I need them they start right up and run great. I know True Fuel is expensive at $23.00 a gallon, but so is bringing your machine to a small engine repair shop and paying a huge repair bill.

Never have i drained my snow blower for 6 years now and it starts like a charm.

Mechanic in a bottle. Got a neighbors mower going after 3 years with that stuff, had it running like new. I add 1 oz per gallon as an additive and even after a year+ the engines start the first pull. Worth every penny lol.

All my equipment has old briggs and strattons on them😂 they'll run of off 90% water, 10% gas if you wanted to

Can't go wrong with Trufuel ever since I started using it none of my equipment has had fuel system issues. If your using equipment that hogs gas use regular gas before storing run dry then put a little Trufuel in and run it dry again.

The best way i ve found for stale fuel, whether its ethanol or non-ethanol. Is to drain the carb at bare minimum, or drain fuel completely. Then spray alittle oil in the carb to help the seals. Transmission fluid is a good choice. Yes i ve seen the post about not having issues with non-ethanol fuel. You can have issues with both. Ethanol fuel has the most issues with fuel and water separation and pulling in humidity under some circumstances. The other issue that ethanol fuel has is bacteria growth. Were as non-ethanol fuel get dried out and becomes powder.

if you have a fuel shutoff and run the gas out of the carb, i dont see anything wrong with gas being in the tank it can prevent the metal ones from rusting

I use star tron 100% of the time in my $4k honda lol. Never had issues. At end of year I turn off fuel shutoff let it die. Than under carb bowl unscrew bolt so the carb is completely dry. Starts no problem

Two of my neighbors did this exact same thing. Then we got hit with a big snow storm recently and neither one could get their snowblowers to start. All I did was drain the old gas then I put fresh premium gas with sea foam added to it in the gas tank. Gave the primer a couple of pumps and hit the start button. After a couple of tries they both started up. They both ran like crap for a couple of minutes but then the fresh gas got into the carb and they both ran smoothly. I aways use premium gas and sea foam in my lawnmower and snowblower and never have any issues with starting it. Another thing that the manufacturer recommends is to turn off the gas valve and let the carb run dry and the engine shuts off. If your snowblower has one of those plastic start keys make sure you turn that to the off position. Then store it that way until you need it again. Just remember to open up the gas valve and turn that plactis key back to the on position before you try to start it again.

Use ethanol free gas always. Add the Red, Amber, or Blue Sta-bil when filling the gas can. Read the directions on the back and follow what they say. Fill the fuel on your snow blower every time you're done. Come spring if you have a fuel shut off use it and run the carburetor till your machine dies. For my Toro zero turn it's stored with a wet carburetor because it has no fuel shut off yet starts perfectly in the spring. All Honda equipment has a fuel shut off valve. Use it if you got it.

I use aspen fuel here in the UK it has a very long shelf life, no ethanol.

I own a ton of gas equipment and what I do is just turn off the gas valve and let it run out and then put in stabilizer. It starts up every time. I have a ATV side-by-side snowblower to riding lawnmowers.!!! I love your videos cause they’re so fun and entertaining and I love the information. That’s what I do.! and it works!

I have a late 90s craftsman snowblower that we got new before even I was on this earth. It runs for the Chicago winters and then it gets put away at the season end with nothing but a full tank of cheapo 87 octane gas - no stabilizer, no draining, no nothing. And guess what? I can go to the garage right now and she'll fire right up. Better yet, we have a generator that hasn't ran in a year. Got it to fire no problem. Just make sure you fill your gas tank full before you park it so there is not a lot of air.

You should leave your fuel tank full and your carburetor full or it’s gonna collect moisture and rust. Just add fuel stabilizer with water treatment you want have any problems.

I'd use the bowl bolt to drain it. I accidentally took mine off after draining it through the drain bolt and there was still a decent bit of gas sitting in there. Might just be the way Husqvarna designed it though and other brands don't have as much. Thanks for all the tips and tricks.

It would be nice if all manufacturers would just add an inline fuel shutoff which would make it easier to disconnect the fuel line to drain the fuel. Even then, they bury everything under guards and covers.

Yeah, but what do you do with the old gas?
