I remember when I started at the Ford dealership I use to work at, all my friends would say, "you get employee pricing now, lucky you." I remember thinking, oh yeah maybe a whole 5 grand off a 50 grand truck. "Employee pricing" is one of the greatest scams the car sales industry has ever come up with, and yet people act like it's some great incentive.

Unless you absolutely have to buy a new car, you're better off waiting. The dealers are counting on you falling for this nonsense. These vehicles are still way overpriced.

$3000 bucks off a $75000 truck is chump change. Wont make a difference, people arent that stupid

I get your point about how the current system is better than no haggle prices, but the whole dealership experience just turns my stomach. Me and you can go into the dealer 2 hours apart and get the same truck, and you'll pay 10k more than me. It's really disgusting. I wish there was a better way.

I work at Honda and almost nobody who works here with me. Drives a Honda because employee pricing is not that great

I’m in the insurance industry we have seen a increase in adding vehicles since trump did the tariff’s. I don’t think it wise to buy anything right now due to job uncertainty and risk of a recession. If we don’t buy they will lower the price they are business and need to make money supply and demand no demand lower prices

I disagree, I don't see any flood of buyers coming....The reality is people can't afford the high priced vehicles, even if they want to buy out of fear, they still can't afford it. It used to be that 60% of society could afford a new vehicle, and now only 30% can do it.

This guy nailed it. I bought a 2024 F350 work truck last month. Paid invoice -3k in incentives. Since the Ford employee pricing thing, I looked to see what truck go for. Same thing is about 2k more. I guess if someone else wasn’t able to get invoice pricing, they get some benefit however trucks have been sitting so long dealers were already advertising invoice price. Oh and the Ford program doesn’t apply to 2025 super duty. In summary you could get better price last month and this thing is a clever marketing scheme.
