The Strokes - At the Door (Live debut) – Inglewood, Live, 10-27-21, front row, The Forum. Julian Casablancas: Thanks for... remembering who we are after all these years! lol

Other Tidbits:

Albert Hammond Jr. just launched new white wine seltzer called Jetway, which was available at the Forum. A lot of fans liked it! It was only sold inside but they didn't let you keep the can as a souvenir lol. 2 days after this show however, they're playing the Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco, and they said that Jetway will be sold there as well.

All these concerned comments about Julian forgetting the lyrics must be new to the Strokes.

I would cry and pass out. Might be the greatest strokes song ever written. Really shows Julian's talent

What he forgets in words, he more than makes up for in emotion and feeling. Top performance.

Anyone gonna talk about the guy at the end that yells ``I'm gonna come''

When he messes up lyrics I love it because it always makes me think of the creative process behind all of it. I think of an interview he did a long time ago about how they record it so much over and over again that it starts like just sort of getting all mashed up in your brain and stops making sense. Like when you hear a word over and over again it stops making sense. You know Julian has several different versions of lyrics to any given song at any given point. I feel like if he just went with his “mistakes” sometimes it would be super cool to see what he comes up with just flowing with it.

Nick's using a guitar to play the synth part! That's so cool.

idk you guys complain about Jules forgetting the lyrics. The vocals were good, everything about this gives me 2000's Strokes Vibes.

I think it’s the simplicity of this song that makes the lyrics hard to remember. Because you could easily switch the lines around and because they mostly have the same syllables they can be sung in any order and still work. He probably switched them around a lot during writing too.

Realmente a mi me importa mucho esta cancion cuando estabamos en la etapa media de la pandemia esta cancion fue la que escuche por primera vez y la verdad fue de mucha ayuda en esos dias y despues todo el disco ni hablar, obra de arte.
