Learn Android 2.20 B - Creating a PHP Web Service for Apps

In this Android tutorial we will be creating our registration script for our php web service. This registration php file will discuss the basics of displaying JSON data which will tell our mobile app if the web service could successfully add a new user.

Followed the tutorials all the way through using API version 22 and Android Studio. A lot of the codes regarding JSON Parser are deprecated but that's not too much of a problem. The main problem is it crashes the application when trying to login or register. Basically running the JSONParser scripts are making the app crash. Anyone able to make it work?

I have completed this tutorial on the mybringback website but i cannot run it on the emulator. any time i click "login" or try to register a new user it ends up crashing the application.

This even happened when i used the source code u provided.

do you have a solution for making the emulator more efficient (for windows)??

Why do we write
$row = $stmt->fetch();
Why not
$row = $result->fetch(); since we are fetching information from $result rather than $stmt (I do not have knowledge of Php although I have programming experience)
and if we can write
$row = $stmt->fetch(), then why do we need $result for ?

Thanks alot helped me through my project, how can i sort the post_id in json so that the recent comment display on top.
