North Carolina has cut off welfare benefits in the slate, blaming the partial federal government shutdown.

The Government should of put it in writing when they started welfare, you have two kids on welfare you will have your tubes tied right after your second child. That should of been put into law, so all these kids on welfare would not of been born.

Welfare should be completely stopped. It is being used by people who can work just like anyone else. I have 2 children and I go to work and pay for all their needs. If you can not afford a child then don't have sex. Instead the government rewards people who have children they can't afford. This is why the government should be extremely limited and make people work for their own independence. I'm absolutely sick of supporting people who are incompetent because of the government.

People ask why I only had one child...I tell them even with a full time job with overtime, shit, I never stopped struggling with the only one by myself, lol. I don't understand why girl continue to have kids they can't take care of. Where has this sense of entitlement come from? Expecting the govt to house all your offspring and feed them all is just ridiculous. I think cuts to welfare will motivate these able bodied females to get a job. If u can have a hundred kids, u can work.

People who depend on government subsidies should really be on birth control as a REQUIREMENT to get their check. Also make them pick up the trash in their neighborhoods and paint over the graffiti. If they don't like doing that they can get a real job like the rest of us.

There is no welfare in my state of Florida. If you are stupid and irresponsible enough to have more children than you can afford, then your actions should not be rewarded. It's horrible that the kids have to suffer because of the actions of their bonehead parents.This sense of entitlement has to STOP.

I am I disable mom who is in a wheelchair who has a cut off leg who is been shot I’ve had a lot of bad luck in my life but I am not on food stamps I do have a part-time job but I do not get food stamps and I can show you these people if they use their money and do it the right way they’ll be able to make it I know I did when I first came to Utah that’s where I live now it’s a self-reliance date they told me that I would not be getting any more food stamps for me and my six-year-old son at the time I started screaming yelling and saying how my going to survive but guess what I survived my pantry so for I get sales go toJust about every state has a Kroger or a Smith’s go there you can get there 10 for 10 there’s lots of places you can go and stock up don’t tell me it can’t be done I do it every week
