I recreated the smoke shack cheeseburger from Shake Shack! In hindsight I should have done the double smoke shack burger but that will have to be for next time. The key with this burger besides all the ingredients is getting that amazing maillard effect on the smash burger which gives it an amazing crust and texture. Get your cast iron super hot and get a nice sear.

I took 3 oz ground beef balled up and smashed, seasoned with S&P, topped with American cheese, diced cherry pepper, bacon, homemade shake shack sauce, on toasted brioche bun. bread.

What You Need:
1. 80/20 ground beef
2. Brioche buns
3. Bacon
4. American cheese
5. Cherry peppers
