The first vehicle I drove was my grandfather's 1936 chevy pickup. It was a 3 on the floor with a 4 cylinder I drove it to help him get his tractor unstuck. I was only 10 years old and it was a very memorable experience I will always cherish. Not because it was a chevy, but because it was his and he trusted em enough to drive it alone from the field all the way to the barn, maybe a 1/4 mile. At 10 years old that was a big deal. My grandfather was a WW1 veteran too.

My grandfather always said the Model A was One of the best automobiles he ever owned. …. Being in his 90s now he’s owned a lot of cars so I trust his opinion on that.

Now THIS is a truck. An affordable, reliable utility vehicle. Unlike many trucks today that people rarely take advantage of its capabilities

I taught myself to drive stick on the first vehicle I bought—a 1931 Model A pickup. Bought it back in September 2019 just after I turned 19. It was my first but not my last. Fun to use as a daily.

Great review of the Model A pickup truck, Zack!

Honestly, it's nice to see people preserving classic trucks like that Model A. ❤️

Great video, I like how you took the time to slowly go over the whole truck while filming. All my life until his few years before passing, my father had a 1937 Cord supercharged Phaeton convertible. When I was about eight or nine, we went to look at a 1929 Model A like he had as a teenager. He wanted something fun to drive to park beside the Cord, he passed on it but the ride and day was huge fun.

With the colour, I can't help but see the bed as a child's wagon. Now THAT is quaint.

I've wanted one of these so badly... until I drove a 1970 f100, base everything, and I realized I like my top of the line XLT LARIAT 1988 diesel with 4 speeds plus overdrive...
But I'd still love to have one for novelty and prestige
Also, I've seen a Ford AA diesel with 400k miles on it original drivetrain. Well built.

Love the A pickup. I have a 30 coupe that my grandfather left me that he bought in the mid 70s and I cherish it.

I love the style of the 2 door and pickup Model A.

What a nice example of a truck that started it all. You should make a video of all your 'miss-haps'.

Man that thing is so cool! Love the simplicity and classic look!

This is all the truck you need, but people have been convinced they need an F-150. Wiish they still made simple, small, dependable trucks.

As cool as the round-backed coupes were, the Model A truck was by far the best-looking. (and most utilitarian) Rumble seats were a gimmick in this era, but it was still a time of innovation before standardization. These were the first real 'trucks'. (besides Model T's)

You should see the old fashioned cars from the year 1926, those days. The 1930s, the way men wore suits and how women dressed, so fabulous. To buy a 1930s car today...save up, it's just not easy. I love how vehicles are made around the 1960s, the times where our parents were very young. I live like it's 1967
