This song so perfectly encapsulates living with depression, self-harm and suicidal tendencies. It’s a battle none of us want - “I don’t want to fight for who I am” - yet too many of us have. The shadow self telling you you’re worthless, convincing you you’re defeated, that you wish you could go to sleep and never wake up. Grateful for Novelists painting it so beautifully and eloquently on such a gorgeous and haunting sonic backdrop. That may not be what they wrote this song about at all but, it’s the first interpretation that came to me based on my own experiences and life. Either way, love it! 🖤 oh and to anyone reading this - you’re worth it and enough!

Novelists has enormous potential to become a worldwide phenomenon. Camille has a very versatile voice that goes from rock/metal to pop. The lyrics are good, the choruses are catchy and the riffs are addictive. The complete package. With investment, they can become a reference, have huge commercial success and regularly compete for the Grammy.
