This isn't a glitch, it's momentum/speed conservation. It's kind of like bhopping, but in the air. You stop your character from hitting its "speed limit" by not touching the ground. It's really easy to do as well, get the deer mount that has the antler charge ability and the double jump, charge off a high cliff while sprinting and double jump. It'll keep the momentum until you hit the ground.

With Hangyu, you can fly almost thrice this speed by getting hit with a "projection move" (like antler charge and humans with machineguns' melee attack) and immeditaly deploying it. You can easily traverse the entire map with 250-300 stamina.
