The Harsh Reality Of Buying A 2020 Toyota Supra

I've decided to buy a 2020 Toyota Supra and well, it's not easy. Despite prognostications to the contrary, the new Supra is a hit. There are only 1500 Launch Edition Supra available in the US and every dealer gets only one allocation. I'm documenting my journey of buying a Supra and I compare it to purchasing my BMW 1M back in 2012.

Yes, dealers asking as high at $33,000 over MSRP in some cases. You definitely should not pay ADM as you're throwing your money out the window. You'll never get that dealer markup back. Here's my story so far.

Forget the launch edition. Just go for the 3.0 Premium. The launch edition is nothing more than BS marketing. You'll be throwing your money away.

Anyone who pays _over sticker_ for one of these is a fool. This isn't a Porsche 911 R or GT2RS, it's a Toyota/BMW. But hey, that's just my opinion.
Speaking of 1M crashes, an Australian car magazine crashed a 1M here while testing it, rolled it onto it's roof! LOL

In Russia the new supra will cost around 87000 dollars(that's MSRP), and it's absolutely insane because Z4 costs around 75000-76000 dollars here

You would think if Toyota will bring back the name "SUPRA" it would be noticeably be a supreme upgraded power plant with exotic super car characteristics. Instead, its all of a profit scam using BMW to collaborate. It just doesnt make sense.. Toyota puts a lot of money into Lexus vehicles like the RC350, LFA and etc but they could not even invest with their own money in the legendary Supra maintaining is JDM heritage??
