Chauvet Slimpar 64 RGBA Battery Upgrade DIY

This is a DIY Battery upgrade to our Chauvet Slimpar 64 RGBA fixtures. I added a simple 12 Volt 6800 mah battery with a permanent DC Plug and used Velcro to mount the Battery. Now I have a Wireless DMX and Battery Powered SlimPar 64 under $165.00 for each unit.

Bought 10 of these batteries & they are solid. Had 4 left-over & used them to power my ceremony rig. Sure wireless mic receiver & Alto stealth wireless TX/RX. They work very well & the ceremony rig is 100% wire-free! No A/C outlet required, easy set-up & fast tear down. Thank you sir! You are the man!

Brilliant idea. Just getting my head around the built in wireless DMX and now you've made the fixture completely wireless. Genius!!

Awesome job. I did the wireless upgrade on a few of mine and they worked great. Thank you. One word of caution with the wireless upgrade is that there is not an on off switch for the wireless therefore if you're running a wireless signal at an event the light will automatically connect to the wireless and if you try to use the modded light with actually DMX cables it will get confused. Found out the hard way. Lol

Would I be able to connect a iec fitting to the battery adaptor lead? So I don't have to do a permeant install?
